A Prayer for Hard Times

When one hard thing follows another, you can bring the whole weight of it to God. This is a prayer for a difficult season.

God my refuge, this has been a heavy season, and I am worn out by it. You are my shelter and my strength, a very present help in trouble, so I run to you now. Hold me steady when everything feels shaken. Give me just enough for today, and hope for tomorrow. Where I cannot see the way through, help me trust that you are working even here. Carry me until the storm passes. Amen.
