Verse Gardens is proprietary software. This page explains what is and isn't permitted, and lists the third-party software the app uses and the licenses that cover it.

1. The app is proprietary (all rights reserved)

Verse Gardens, including its source code and all names, logos, artwork, sounds, fonts, design, look and feel, and curated content, is proprietary to Verse Gardens, and all rights are reserved.

Except where expressly permitted in writing, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, adapt, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from any part of the app, and you may not use the "Verse Gardens" name, logos, or trademarks, without the prior written permission of Verse Gardens.

The app is provided "AS IS", without warranties or conditions of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. See the Terms of Service for the full terms that govern your use of the app.

2. Brand, name, and creative assets

For the avoidance of doubt, the following are proprietary to Verse Gardens and all rights are reserved:

• the name "Verse Gardens" and any associated taglines;
• all logos, the flower and book marks, app icons, and brand imagery;
• the "garden", bloom, and flower illustrations, themes, color systems, and other artwork;
• sound and music assets authored or licensed for the app, custom fonts/branding, and marketing copy;
• the product design, look and feel, and curated content that make up the Verse Gardens experience.

No trademark or brand rights are granted to anyone, by implication or otherwise.

3. Third-party software

The app uses third-party software libraries and SDKs, each licensed under its own terms (for example, the Apache License 2.0, MIT, and similar). Those licenses apply only to those components, not to Verse Gardens itself. See Third-Party Notices for the full list and license texts.

4. Bible text

The Bible text used in the app is the King James Version (KJV), which is in the public domain. No copyright is claimed in the KJV text. (See Third-Party Notices for the UK Crown-patent note.)
