A Prayer for Wisdom

When a decision is bigger than you, you can ask God for wisdom, and he promises to give it. This is a short prayer for wisdom.

Lord, I am facing something I do not feel wise enough for, and you said that anyone who lacks wisdom can ask you, and you give it freely and without finding fault. So I ask. Give me discernment to see clearly, humility to seek good counsel, and patience not to rush ahead of you. Where my own reasoning falls short, let your wisdom lead. Help me weigh this well and choose the way that honors you. I will trust the understanding you provide. Amen.
