Lord, my mind will not be still. The same worries keep circling, and I am tired of the noise inside my head. You promise perfect peace to the one whose mind is stayed on you, so I turn my thoughts toward you now. Take the racing what-ifs and the replayed regrets. Quiet the spinning, one breath at a time. Fix my mind on what is true and good instead of what I fear. Let your peace, which is deeper than I can understand, guard my heart and mind. Amen.
