A Prayer for My Mother

This is a short prayer of gratitude and blessing for your mother, whatever season she is in.

Lord, thank you for my mother and for all the love and care she has poured out over the years, much of it unseen. Bless her now in return. Where she is tired, give her rest; where she worries, give her peace; where her body is aging, be her strength. Repay the sacrifices she made that I may never fully know. Help me to honor her, to be patient with her, and to tell her I love her while I can. Watch over her, and keep her close to you. Amen.
