A Prayer for Fear
When fear grips you, you can hand it to a God who is bigger than what frightens you. This is a short prayer for fear and worry.
Father, fear has a hold on me tonight, and I need you to loosen its grip. You did not give me a spirit of fear, but of love and peace and a sound mind. Remind me of that now. Take my hand in the dark, and walk me through what I am dreading. Replace the what-ifs with your steady presence. I choose to trust you, even while I tremble. Be my courage. Amen.
