Before a trip, you can commit the journey and everyone on it to God's care. This is a short prayer for safe travel.

Lord, watch over this journey from the moment we set out to the moment we arrive. Guard our going out and our coming in. Keep us alert on the road, protect us from harm, and bring us safely to the ones waiting for us. Calm any anxious hearts among us, and let this trip hold good things. Whether the miles are easy or long, be our companion the whole way. Bring us home again in peace. Amen.
