A Prayer for a New Week

A fresh week is a fresh page. This is a short prayer to begin the week trusting God with all it holds, the known and the unknown.

Faithful God, a new week opens in front of me, and I bring it to you before it fills up. Thank you that your mercies are new every morning. Go before me into the days I cannot yet see, and walk with me through the ones I can. Give me strength for my work, patience for my people, and eyes to notice your goodness in small things. When Friday comes, let me look back and see that you were with me the whole way. Amen.
