A Prayer for a New Job
Starting something new brings both excitement and nerves. This is a prayer for a new job, or a first day, as you step into unfamiliar ground.
Lord, thank you for this new job and the door you have opened. As I step into unfamiliar ground, calm my nerves and give me confidence that is rooted in you. Help me learn quickly, work with integrity, and treat everyone I meet with kindness. Where I feel out of my depth, be my wisdom. Let me be a blessing in this place, and let this work be part of the good future you have promised me. I begin it with you. Amen.
